The Keanu Backpack is a full-size backpack that can be made for men, women or children! Designed to be the ideal commuter for work or school and sized to fit your 15" laptop comfortably.

The pattern was designed for quilting cotton, and can be made on a domestic sewing machine! Experimentation with cork or vinyl is encouraged, but cautiously as some domestic sewing machines may struggle with the layers.

There is a laptop compartment in the back that zips open to slip your laptop in from the top and be protected against your back and from all the items in the main compartment. The large body of the backpack has two interior zipper pockets and lots of space for you to add all the unique pockets that you can imagine. The front of the backpack has a unique curvy zipper pocket with a pleat at the bottom that allows it to expand to hold all those laptop things you may need. 

Details:

The finished size for the original sized backpack is 16" tall, 11" wide at the widest point and 5-1/2" deep.
Pattern testers consider this pattern ideal for intermediate to advanced bag makers.

Pattern:

Your pattern comes in a PDF downloadable format filled with diagrams to walk you through the creation of your bag. All curved pattern pieces are included in your file, although the rectangles have measurements provided within your cutting list to cut with a ruler and rotary cutter.
