"Walk By Faith: Skip a Little Even"

I don't know about you, but I've recently been through circumstances (especially this year, goodness we all have), that have really tested my faith. God has and is using all of it for good, painful at times, but to really show me what it looks like to fully put my trust and hope only in Him. Nothing in this world can bring true peace, true joy, true confidence in the future but Christ.

I'm not sure I realized just how much I really relied on "my own strength" and "my ability to control my future". It is a very easy thing to say and "believe" something, but not really act like it. But isn't our God great, that He doesn't leave us in these states. He allows us to do our own thing for a bit before He comes in and shows us how it is really supposed to be. And there is such much peace and freedom in that.

I have no clue what the next 20 years will bring or what tomorrow will look like. But Jesus doesn't expect us to, or to supply our own strength to get through it. When we walk His road, He directs and He supplies whatever we need at the right time. We need only to follow Him, and we can do so with a skip in our step.
